Since StuffIt¬ is recognized as an industry standard, many vendors have chosen to support the StuffIt Family of products within their own software. Some vendors' products work with the StuffIt Engine¬ (which comes with StuffIt Deluxe¬, StuffIt SpaceSaver¬, DropStuff with Expander Enhancer¬, and SITcomm¬). Some vendors have their software "talk" directly to the StuffIt Expander¬ application. Other vendors have elected to license StuffIt Technology from Aladdin to support StuffIt files directly within their software.
